"Phone broke after a 1 1/2 months"

Cons: After a month and a half the phone stopped working totally
Summary: Phone worked great until about three days ago. I went to use my phone one evening when I realized that it seemed to reboot it self but wouldn't complete the process. The screen kept flashing the Rumor logo with a "please wait". I couldn't turn it off or on either. Took the battery out to see if it would help, but nothing. Phone is in the shop now and I am being told this a common occurrence with the phone. Apparently nothing can be done and now I am looking at getting a refurbished phone because I am past the 30 day guarantee. Nothing like paying full price for a phone, having it work for less than 2 months to only end up with a reject that will probably do the same thing in the future!!

I was just getting used to this phone and then after 5wks, the battery life shrunk from 3 days to less than 24hrs. I drain the batt regularly before charging and the phone is barely a month old. The battery gauge shows 50% but the cell dies after a few more hrs. I don't text, talk or browse internet much so that would not be a reason for lack of battery. Took it to Sprint store(bought it at Radio Shack). Sprint gave me a new battery but same problems exist. Took it back to Sprint 2wks later but they want to charge me $35 for a refurbished one. I don't want to pay for a phone that is supposed to work. Radio Shack says they can't do anything for me. Called LG and we tried a little trick. We'll see how this pans out. LG told me to call back if it wasn't better in the next 2 days.
