"The perfect entry-level cell phone."
Pros: This phone has excellent reception. Fantastic tactile keyboard (although not well lit in the dark). The screen is bright and sharp. The battery lasts 2-3 days (not as good as my Sanyo SCP 3200 from Sprint, though). Clear calls. Good speakerphone.
Cons: My only peaves are the camera, which gives orange hues to hotos under incandescent light, regardless of white balance; the clear part of the face plate, which scratches easily, and the difficulty in finding spare wall chargers at WalMart. Looks?

"The LG vx-5400 is a good no-nonsense phone and at a good price."
Pros: I'm older and the phone has large enough numbers and I like the speaker phone. It's easy to handle.
Cons: I've had the phone since March and I believe thtat the sound quality is getting worse every month.
