"Great personal cell phone"
Pros: Lightweight, small, great features, easy to use
Cons: no outside display, hard to see screen in sunlight
Summary: I've had this phone for a week and it's been terrific. Though I was concerned about it not having an outside LCD display, I chose this phone because it was the only Verizon phone that had all the features I wanted: tri-mode, speakerphone, voice-activated dialing, strong battery life, color screen, and small size/lightweight. The fact that there's no outside screen has not been a hindrance for me - I have the phone set so that it answers a call when I press the send button, and I have special ringtones assigned to my friends and family with whom I speak most often, so I know who is calling immediately. It's a great basic phone with some nice bonuses, like neat ringtones and a tip calculator. I get better service with this phone than with my old LG (which had pretty good service), and it's very easy to use. It comes with two covers - blue and silver. I have noticed that the screen is hard to read in sunlight, but I do not know if this is perhaps common of color screens in general; this is my first phone with a color screen. Also, this might be fixed by adjusting the settings but I haven't done so. Bottom line: If you're looking for a phone for personal use and don't want it bulked up with a camera but still want other great features, I recommend that you check out this phone.
