"Near perfect entry level camera phone, easy user interface, but just not enough WOW extras..."
on by jtfilmsexists1Pros Bright, larger lcd, impressive camera, accessible keypad,
Cons Not enough memory, can only store 20 high res photos, when camera gets old, not much left...
Summary The lg vx6000 is an all around nice phone. From its vivid color display, to its simple, yet extremely functional camera setup, this just screams accesiblity to electronics enthusiasts and first time cell phone buyers alike. It has a nice, sleek design to it, and its not bulky or awkward to hold. Feel nice and sturdy in your hand, and even better when you talk. The camera on this is also nice. It just so simple to use, yet delivers high quality photos, with minimal effort. Has cool funframes, and effects such as black and white, and an antiquish sepia effect. The zoom is nice, too, gets up there REAL close. One of the only drawbacks to this phone is the lack of memory. With the ability to store only 20 vga photos, it runs out of space rather quickly, especially if you are using the multi shot. But, with that said, this phone is still extremely solid, and for the low prices these days, its one to definetely look into.

"Perfect Phone"
on by maxsteelPros awesome phone
Cons a few glitches
Summary I have this phone for one year and as a guy, we all tend to drop it. Have used it during all weather condition as i live in NY.. got a lot of scratches but this baby hasn't died on me. Its battery life is good and you can talk for 4 hours non stop as i have done it many times. I give this a 10. This phone is tough cookie to crack. Way better than the treo.

"Will drop calls."
on by dave9200Pros Full featured.
Cons Digital only. Poor reception.
Summary This phone is good in every way except as a telephone. Compare it with other phones in the same area to test this. No straing to hear garbled messages though, all of a sudden the other party just isn't there anymore. Keep calling back multiple times to continue the conversation.

"I will never buy another LG"
on by swessdogPros I no longer own one.
Cons Drops calls left and right. Delicate antenna. Often will not complete calls without rebooting the phone.
Summary This was the second LG that I purchased. I first owned a VX10. I hated the phone. It also often dropped calls and the outside LCD screen was virtually shot by the time I replaced the phone.
Somehow, I was talked into puchasing the VX6000. I should have trusted my instincts. This phones performance was worse than its predecessor's.
In addition to the cons listed above:
The charger is bulky and prone to breaking
The photo quality isn't all that great.
The battery would die in less than 3 hrs if it was not recharged (although it did recharge quickly).
When I would return home from school (100 miles away) the phone would receive either little or no signal at all.
IT CONTINUOUSLY DROPPED AND REFUSED TO COMPLETE CALLS.
Motorolas may be slightly less user-friendly, but at least they work. -
"THIS PHONE SUCKS"
on by jamie98taPros LOOKS COOL
Cons NO SIGNAL, "CALL WAS LOST" VERY COMMON
Summary Had a nokia with no problems worked fine from home. Buy the new LG can't even use it at home, I have to wonder around my 3 acre lot until i can find a signal. Next time make sure the new technology works as good as the old before you put it on the market.
