"Feature-rich phone for normal people"
Pros: MicroSD slot, call clarity, fast, MP3 player, internal antenna
Cons: No external vibrate shortcut, no "lock" shortcut, no belt clip included
Summary: I got this phone to replace my old 3-way LG VX6100. So far it seems to be a great little phone (very light weight). Call clarity/quality seems pretty good (better than my 6100) which of course is the most important thing in a phone. My old 6100 had the ability to go into Vibrate mode by holding down the external volume key for a few seconds; this phone doesn't sport that feature and it'll be a bummer living without it (my wife's 5200 also doesn't so maybe my 6100 was just special). This phone's camera doesn't have a flash, but I don't care personally.Updated
I realized I wasn't clear in my review about the vibrate mode. I know that you can toggle the vibrate/manner mode using the "*" key. However, on my old 6100 I could ALSO use the outter volume key to toggle it (without having to open the phone). For me it's just an old habit I'm having to forget about.

Helpful review, especially the comment about it lacking "the ability to go into Vibrate mode by holding down the external volume key for a few seconds", as this feature has bugged me for years with various phones - I keep my phone in my pants pocket and many's the time it toggles into vibrate or silent mode and I miss calls. I can see where people find this feature handy but would love it if phone designers would let you disable these "useful" features. Now that we have music player buttons on the outside too I can see bending down becoming quite eventful!

you can get the vibrate mode instantly on these phones, too. press and hold the "star" button until you feel the phone vibrate. when it's set, the screen will say "manner mode". that should bring your review up to a 9 out of 10, eh?
