Pros: nice calling features; good viewing screen; dual world clock display

Cons: battery life is terrible; speakerphone screeches; cheap feel

Summary: I just purchased this phone a week ago. It was an upgrade from my LG VX8300. The VX8300 was a great phone. I wanted another for a second phone and was forced to upgrade to the VX8350. The Verizon sales person here in NJ told me that this new model was even better than the 8300. He said it had better battery life. I know know that was an outright lie. The Verizon 800# customer rep confirmed that fallacy. The new battery was draining faster than the 8300. I found myself recharging every other day. I could usually go for almost 4 days with out needing a charge on the VX 8300. The icing on the cake was while I was using the speakerphone, it had a deafening feedback screech that gave my ears a whallop and drew comments from the other parties on the call. Here's the best. I went to the Verizon company store where I purchased the phone to have the battery and feedback screech checked out. Of course the tech found nothing wrong. On my way out I mentioned my troubles to the floor manager. He suggested that I get a new phone under their 30 day replacement deal. While I was at the customer service desk waiting for them to fill out the paperwork, I took a call on speaker. The phone howled to the point that the customer service reps asked me to shut the thing off because it was driving them crazy. (sweet payback) I got the replacement VX8350. Let's see how this goes.

YEAH! This battery life sucks! I last a day! I'm really looking for another phone. Same price, but better battery life. Hows the new one treatin' ya?

This was touched on in many of the previous reviews. There is a voice clarity option on the phone. Turn it off. It should solve the problem; it did for me.
