"Great phone for pocket or purse"
Pros: Very thin, no pocket bulge, beautiful displays
Cons: Thin profile might be handling problem for some.
Summary: Had the phone for a week now and very happy. Wanted a phone I could carry in my pocket instead of holster or clip method and this one is perfect for that. The thin profile is great. Sound quality and display are excellent compared to my previous LG4500. Ordered a 1GB microSD from Inet for $20 to hold music, photos/videos. Access behind battery is no big deal because you do it one time and forget about it. The USB cable from the PC is the comm link from then on.

how did you put files onto your micro SD card with the 8700? last i checked bitpim didn't support it yet.
