"Pretty good phone with one big issue"
Pros: Solid phone, good sound and reception. Easy to use interface. Good battery life.
Cons: Back light stays on after call is received.
Summary: This is a good no frills phone. Sound is adequate, reception is very good and the interface is intuitive and easy to use. The big flaw is a glitch where the back light stays on after you receive a call. This is the 3rd V750 I've had and all had the problem. I decided I can deal with it by shutting the phone down after a call and starting it again, and hoping Motorola will have a fix for the problem soon. It is an annoyance because it can run down the battery if I forget to restart the phone after a call.
Another minor annoyance is that the MP3 player screen seems to be on every time I open the phone to use it. It is activated by a button on the side of the phone and apparently it gets pressed while in my pocket.
Overall it's a decent phone. I purchased it because I abuse my phones and its supposedly rugged enough to take it. It certainly doesn't feel very rugged and I haven't tested it by dropping it, but we'll see what happens when I drop it like I've been known to do.
