"Great phone for price" on by Nick Benedetto

Pros: speakerphone, great display, clear reception, long battery life

Cons: no camera, or external caller id display, no internal antenna

Summary: This phone is everything someone who just makes phone calls wants. It is a more stylish way to make phone calls, then the users who still have "The nokia, black and white screen, <b> "brick. </b>" Very clear screen to text, and to play Java enabled games, and sound quality is great. My battery lasts about 5 days in stand-by, and ONLY three hours, continuious talk time. This phone is a great phone for starters (teens first phones,) or for those who simply have a cell phone just to talk. Not many bells and whistles, but a great choice for the normal cell phone user. I wanted more then the "normal," so i bought the LG PM-225 for Sprint PCS. Look into it- great phone.

    "Sucks bad." on by crazyskippy_13

    Pros: It makes calls, sometimes.

Cons: Bad battery, doesn't work half the time.

Summary: Worst phone, ever. The text messages are slow, sometimes it won't receive calls, and the battery goes dead too fast. If you're looking for a cheap phone that doesn't need to be reliable, this is the one for you!

"NOT worth the time or money" on by Garfie83

    Pros: It's a phone

Cons: Drops calls, not a good texting phone, crappy ringtones

Summary: The lack of ringtones, the constant shutting off when texting and receiving a text at the same time, and always having calls dropped due to supposed lost signal. This phone is worthless. I am unable to use a headset for this phone - even the one that is made for it. It's just worthless overall.

"It's a phone." on by thebacon

    Pros: Everything.

    Cons: None, it's a phone.

Summary: It's a phone. What more do you want? It doesn't have all of those flashy extra features, I find those very annoying. It's got a good feel too, and I am able to make calls where my last phone couldn't. It's very solid, I've dropped it countless times, and it continues to live. A simple phone to use.

"Not worth it" on by crisfrazer

Pros: Durable if you drop kick it

Cons: Battery comes off, locks up

Summary: My wife bought me this phone after my Sanyo died after only one year. At first I was impressed by the rubberized exterior. Apparently the guy at the store highly reccomended this phone becuase it is very shock resistant (which I will admit, it is!)

Unfortunitly the perks end there. Three days after I got it I lost the back off the phone and had to hold the battery on with tape. Sprint was useless so I called Motorola who kindly sent me a new back (which took 4 weeks to arrive) Since the new back was falling off constantly its now held on with super glue.

The phone can only handle one function at a time. If you are talking on the phone and get a text, lock up. Sending a text and receive one at the same time? Lock up. Looking through your menu and someone calls? Lock up. Each time it takes the phone about ten minutes to realize its locked and reset. I could just pull the battery off if it weren't glued on. Oh well.

A couple of other people who have written reviews have mentioned text recipients getting multipule texts for no apparent reason. I've experienced that too....often. Also I've noticed that the button you push when dialing or texting is not necessarly what is going to show up on the screen. At first I thought I was going crazy and pressing the wrong button but I've figgured out that its the phone thats insane, not me.

I'm just starting the "complain to Sprint" process, we'll see how that goes. I dont really expect to get a new phone out of this but maybe. Sprint has been good to me in the past when I've threatened to cancel service over an issue they wouldn't deal with. Perhaps I'll get lucky.
