The Bottom Line The Motorola i335 isn't showy or exciting, but it offers superior call quality and the standard Nextel features in an accessible design. The Samsung Knack SCH-U310 is one of the best basic phones on the market. If you need a handset for making calls, you can't go wrong. Boost Mobile scores with its first messaging phone. The Motorola Clutch offers good performance and an easy-to-use design. The Motorola V195s will appeal to T-Mobile customers who want a Bluetooth phone with good call quality and no camera. Despite some design issues and a couple of missing features, the Motorola Droid is the most powerful and fastest Google Android device to date. It fully embraces the openness of the Android platform and offers Verizon customers a smartphone that certainly rivals the other touch-screen devices on the market.
