"Great PHONE, rugged, dependable, intuitive, no BS!"
Pros: I appreciate the talk clarity and volume; the design is easy to use; rugged with BIG BUTTONS well illuminated. Masculine without being glitzy. Great battery life, speaker phone performance, fast to charge, easy applications like Telenav.
Cons: For data use or Telenav, it would be nice to have a larger screen.
Summary: If you're looking for bling or to make some kind of style (or ego) statement, this is not your phone. BUT if you are looking for a functional tool to make and receive phone calls (sort of a novel idea these days!) with BIG BUTTONS a great choice. Works easily with Blue Tooth headsets (and Synch). Everything to like, nothing not to like. Good value for those of us that get used to things and keep them for awhile.
Thanks to aging, I like big buttons and clear functions that can be used easily w/o reading glasses. I like clear strong sound and knowing people can hear me well. I like the Motorola brand, a strong US brand (even if it's probably made offshore). The i576 has exceeded my expectations.
I like the 2-way functionality and the lack of glitz suits my style! I have the Everything Plan and the rep tried to talk me into Blackberry or upgraded data phones.
The only problem is I wish everybody (all of my customers and associates) had Nextel and used 2-way so we wouldn't be leaving messages back and forth all the time and could keep the friendly chatter to a minimum! Glad to see Sprint is supporting the Nextel brand; sorry so many users were lost during the bad years. Time to earn them back!
