"Sleek, rugged and user-friendly" on by ryan_bane

Pros: The phone is lightweight, the controls are intuitive and the screen is larger than it looked in the photo I saw on Sprint's web site. I work in a jail and have had no problems with reception while at work. My last phone frustrated me immensely.

Cons: The camera could have been better, VGA is almost unacceptable on phone cameras these days. I also wish it had video capability, which it lacks. Lastly, more color options would have been a plus.

Summary: A very good upgrade for me, I'm happy with the phone and would have no reservations in recommending it.

"Great for emergencies - Problematic for regular use" on by brett4403

Pros: Very good price: $75 at Radio Shack. Slim and durable. Boost Mobile service consistent at $50/mo. $2 back for auto-repay every single month. Problems will either keep you entertained or drive you completely insane.

Cons: Microphone often fails while you're speaking (Switch to Speakerphone). Phone often transfers incoming calls to voice mail as soon as you try to answer it after only one ring. Very annoying radio interference with many other devices.

Summary: The i776 is a very good value, but somewhat problematic when it comes to calls. Simple to use and program. Generally, pretty good reception. I have had this phone for eight months now and dispite problems, I don't expect to replace it for awhile. But then, I only use the phone an average of three or four calls daily on average. If you are expecting to use your phone for more than several a day, I would strongly recommend you buy a different phone. Still, I haven't missed many calls. It often tends to have service interuptions, but generally not in the middle of calls. It?s problems may drive the average user nuts since the phone will often fail to transmit your voice, and your guest may think you service was interupted or you hung up- usually at the most critical moment in your conversation. Since it happens often, guests may tend to believe the later. Then when you try to quickly send a text to explain your phone stopped transmitting ? you can hear them, they cannot hear you ? Text messaging often fails to work. Hence, your guests must be prepared and both of you patient. If you already have this model and experience this problem, I have learned the phone will often operate remarkably better in Speakerphone mode. Finally, the phone frequently broadcasts a very loud and annoying paging signal that interferes terribly with audio amplifiers in radios, televisions and computer speaker monitors. It does it constantly during calls, but it also occurs just before your phone rings, while it transmits and receives text messages, and occasionally between any user activity. Further, anything you do to the phone, including plugging in the battery charger or just picking up the phone will sometimes start it sending out a signal; Who knows what it?s saying, but it may start you thinking about Big Brother. Internet browsing?: Forget it! You can take pictures, but service and phone offer no easy way to transfer pictures to your computer for being saved. I havn?t been able to do it yet. Transfer to another phone that has those features and will accept your files, and then maybe do it. Enjoy!!!

"Dead after 3 months. Got a blue screen & it shut off." on by moore0485

Pros: Good call and speaker quality

Cons: Was a throw away phone. You get what you pay for.

Summary: Although the quality of the speaker phone and calling was good the phone sucked after just three months. Don't waste your money.
