Pros This phone is pretty and has a lot of features

Cons It is so slow to operate that I am often frustrated

Summary I up graded my phone last month. It was on sale and looked really good; plus it had a lot of listed features. I wish I had gotten a different model. The Krzr is so slow. It can't keep up with my text messaging and I am by no means quick at typing out messages. I have to wait 3-4 seconds with every button I push. And if there is stuff stored in the In or Out box, it goes even slower. The camera takes very poor quality pictures compared to my old Samsung model. I would not recommend this phone. If I could trade it in I would.

    Updated
I thought I would update and give a few more details about my phone. Some history - My husband and I both got a Motorola Krzr phone in March. His works well and even after nine months he has no problems. His brother's and sister-in-law's Krzr phones also run smoothly.
Mine, however continued to get slower and slower. The month after I bought it I couldn't even navigate through any of the menus, it went so slow. When I paused, to wait for the phone to catch up, it would take me to the wrong place. It was so horrible I called Verizon to switch back to using my old phone. They told me that some of the Krzr models had this problem and to remove the battery to reset the system. That worked. Every two days I have had to peel off the case and remove the battery to reset the system. Then the phone has steadily slowed down until I take the battery out again. I have now removed the battery so much that it won't hardly take a charge. The phone is dead. I have to buy a new phone and I am only nine months into my two year contract. This is not just an isolated glitch. If you are lucky enough to get a phone that works properly then it is a nice phone. But from what I have read this problem is frequent enough for concern. Buyer beware!

    Pros stylish & functional

Cons small screen, cover prone to smudges

Summary a vast improvement on many levels over the razr. phone functions are fine, camera could be better, great call quality, reception, etc. looks good too.

  • "Great Design...poor phone!!"

Pros This phone is a great design and easy to talk on.

Cons Poor user interface says it all!!!

Summary I bought this phone for my wife reluctantly because I am not a Motorola fan. However the cuteness factor won her over so I figured I'd give it a chance. From the beginning my first complaint is the speed of the user interface. When going through the menu it takes approximately 3-5 seconds for items to pull up. Much slower than any LG phone I have owned in the past. Both phones had issues with keeping the time updated and would often freeze when going through the menu. We went through two different phones in less than two weeks and experienced the same issues. I would not recommend this phone to anyone!

Pros It works ok, worked good for about 6 months

Cons EVERYTHING PRETTY MUCH AFTER 6 MOS.

Summary Pros: Good ringtones choices and an easy phone to navigate around:

    Cons: everthing else.

This phone was okay, when i got it for Christmas '07, but then it started acting up. For example. Setting ringers. I would set my alarm for a different tone then that would interfere with the ringer I had selected for texting and calling. It would change and I would think it was my alarm. Other times the ringer would be silent and i couldnt even get it on. the front scratched easily, but my last phone was kinda thin the samsung u540 and the krazr seemed to withstand the drops. The front got totally scratched and banged and just overall messed up, then it stopped charging and got even more messed off. I had to hold the charger into the phone.

I got a second phone from the insurance it suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucc?ccccckkeeeeeeeeedd the phone came with a new battery weirdly and that battery wouldn't hold a good charge at all. The first time I dropped the phone it got a bad crack in the front screen. The battery life would decrease after 1 phone call, it generally was a sucky phone.

AT FIRST I LIKE, i now hate

  • "Worst cell phone ever!"

    Pros Sleek, light weight

Cons Freezes, buttons are hard to push, finger prints stay on the phone, small screen, shuts down randomly, horrible camera!

Summary I have had to go to Verizon and get an exchange twice within a year and a half. I am now on my third phone, and it still freezes and loses its signal all the time. I do NOT recommend getting the Krzr; not even of ra starter phone. They freeze all teh time, camera is poor, buttons are hard to press, the front of the phone is prone to finger prints, the screens are very small, and it restarts itself randomly; like in the middle of texting a message to someone. The only good thing about this phone is that it is sleek and light weight.
