  • "Don't make the same mistake I did."
    on by PhillyShane

    Pros Size, talk quality

Cons Battery life, sluggish response time.

Summary Tis phone is very nice looking, but it is far from reliable. I have had it for about a year, and I am regretting ever getting it. The battery life on it is horrible, and at times I can push a key and the phone does not respond for about 3 seconds. This becomes very annoying. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your money. I'm going back to LG phones.

  • "DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE"
    on by clz8782

Pros It looks pretty and sleek

Cons Sluggish, starts playing your music out of no where, cannot turn off missed call alert, if you throw it-it will shatter

Summary I have had the Krazr for just over a year and I am on my third. The keys don't respond in a timely fashion, some button on the outside of the phone automatically starts playing your Tupac music on speakphone in the middle of a lecture, there is the most annoying "reminder" alert that you cannot turn off for a missed call. Everyone I know who has it, hates it. Dont waste your money.

If you have a bluetooth "music" headset, it will not work with this phone even though it has bluetooth capabilities. You can talk to others but the music plays directly out of the phone on speakphone.

  • "Typical Motorola issues covered with a pretty mask"
    on by lizardxtrme

    Pros Design, ergonomic, small, sleek

Cons Battery life, lack of durability, sluggish, and black screen of death

Summary This is my second Motorola phone I've had and both have bad user interface, slow performance, and issues with the screen. First the screen is okay, then it's bad, then it's good again. Expect to have this phone last 1 year before it dies.

  • "Not that special."
    on by tvarch1tech

Pros Pretty, Good call and speaker.

Cons Very limited personalization of any kind. Smudges!

Summary Now I really am not into bashing products but I have to tell it like I see it with this one. With Verizon pushing these at $20 Im sure their moving a ton of them, I got this one temporarily because I wore my Chocolate out! Now it looks stunning and has good call quality. And an excellent speaker, but that truly is about it. It has all the typical Verizon goodies but nothing special. The cam is so so, it does have some cool editing features included. But I dont know why they feel it necessary to lock all the preloaded pics and ringers on the phone. You will have to buy a SD card, there is barely any phone memory. So why take up more with stupid pics that Im sure 95% of the people who buy it would want to erase. Also Im the type that loves to customize my phone. And it REALLY annoyed me that I couldnt use a recorded sound as a ringtone! The text response is kinda slow, and pix mssgs take even longer. Battery life is average at best. If you want just a straight up ring and talk phone I guess this ones for you. But if your more into the multimedia and customization end, this is not our cup of tea.

  • "Looks good. Sounds good."
    on by scrumtalecent

Pros So far it does what it's supposed to.

    Cons Possibly battery life

Summary I've had this phone for a week now and I've seen many horrible reviews on it and so far I've had none of the problems I've seen besides maybe the battery life. It seemed to die a little quicker than my last one, but lately I've been using the MP3 player a lot, so that takes up a lot of battery life, but lasts around 4 or 5 hours of constant use. What I haven't seen in the reviews is how well the MP3 player works. I thought the sound would be a lot more "tinny", but I think it sounds pretty good. I haven't used music on previous phones before, but I like how it automatically stops when a call comes in and automatically starts again when I hang up, no questions asked. The light-up touch screen is a nice touch. When using the music player, the FF, Play/Pause, and RW buttons light up for about 10 seconds and then turn off. If you want them back on, you barely touch one and it lights back up and turns the front lcd screen back on. The space to touch is small, so you don't have to worry about the buttons turning on when grabbing your phone. Even if you do, you have to touch it again to play, FF or RW.
I don't have a problem with the fingerprints that end up on the glass. I'm a guy, so some fingerprints aren't going to impact my opinion of the phone. I also like the slimness and sturdiness of the phone. From side to side, it's slimmer than most, but when opened up, it has a perfect length while not feeling fragile at all. The camera is good, not great, but that's never a big deal in a phone. Overall, it's a very nice phone. Through verizon's New Every Two Year plan, it was only $20, so I'm not complaining till it really screw up on me.
