Pros: sleek, outside controls are nice, not a slider phone
Cons: technical issues, poor battery life
Summary: My husband and I each purchased one of these in Feb. 2007 and we were excited to get music phones with cameras which were "new" at the time. I don't like the slider style chocolate phones, and don't need a smart phone.
We have had nothing but issues...we have each had to exchange our phones 2x (thankfully, Verizon has been helpful) but this should not happen. We take care of our phones, have cases etc...
The music transfer software stopped working and I did buy a small card reader from Verizon which works for loading tunes and moving pictures
Camera is decent, but takes crappy pictures in low light and saves then in low resolution, so even worse
battery life is horrible..bought extended battery and back does not fit. would be about $25-40 bucks to get a new back! So, I have a phone wedged in a case
-bluetooth stereo headset did not work which was motorola but purchased from buy.com
-had issues with battery charger not being correct
-had phone freeze up mini SD card
-microphone did not work for earpiece due to poorly fitted case hitting outside button
I do like the style, I like the set up of the phone...but just too many issues. Also, VW store is 30 minutes away, so a task to go and have it looked at! UGH! -

Cons: BATTERY LIFE, FREEZES, EVERYTHING
Summary: PROBLEMS WITH MY PHONE. THE BATTERY DIES THE SAME DAY AND SOMETIMES IT READS UNAUTHORIZED CHARGER. ALSO SOMETIMES WHEN CHARGING THE LIGHT FLASHES ON AND OFF. ALSO MY PHONE FREEZES ALOT. AFTER HAVING MY PHONE FOR 1MONTH AND 1 WEEK I TOOK IT BACK TO VERIZON IT WAS TO LATE TO EXCHANGE IT SO THEY SAID THEY WOULD FIX IT. THEY TOLD ME THAT FOR SOME REASON THAT MY PHONE HAD OLD SOFTWARE IN IT AND THEY UPDATED MY SOFTWARE SO EVERYTHING SHOULD BE FINE. DONT KNOW WHY THERE WOULD BE OLD SOFTWARE WHEN I GOT THE PHONE RIGHT WHEN IT CAME OUT?? THIS DAY 4 MONTHS LATER I AM STILL HAVING THE SAME EXACT PROBLEMS. I DONT KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO?? ITS A PAIN TO KEEP ON GOING BACK TO THE VERIZON STORE ALL THE TIME WHEN THEY CANT FIX IT. I FEEL LIKE I AM STUCK WITH THIS PHONE FOR ANOTHER 1 AND 8 MONTHS. I WISH THEY WOULD HAVE JUST EXCHANGED IT FOR A TOTAL DIFFERNT PHONE SINCE I PAID $150.00 PLUS A 2 YEAR CONTRACT WITH IT BUT THEY SAID I MISSED RETURNING IT BY 1 WEEK. I HAVE READ SO MANY MESSG BOARDS AND IT SEEMS THAT ALOT OF PEOPLE ARE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEMS. THANKS LISA

Summary: For the past 5 years I have always just gotten the cheapo phone that comes with renewing my plan. I've never had a problem with any of these phones. In fact, my last LG phone had to be replaced because my dog chewed it up, it still worked, but it was not pretty. I have a nextel account for my job, I have always had a motorola phone with nextel. When I went to replace my dog eaten phone I decided to go for the more expensive motorola krzr. It had just come out, this was February of 2007. As of this day, July 30, 2007, I'm on my 3rd krzr. The speaker went out on the first phone within 14 days. The speaker went out on the second phone within 3 months. I had the second phone fixed, it was a software problem. One month later the second phone has problems with freezing up. I take it back to the store and am given a re-furbished phone. The first two were brand new and had software problems, now they're giving me a phone with someone elses problems. These phones are expensive and worthless. Motorola needs to make some serious changes before I ever consider buying another one of their phones. LG definately has my money from now on.

Cons: fits backward in verizon holster and sound quality is poor without headset
Summary: This phone is only so/so Battery gooes dead quickly and call quality is poor when I dont use my headset

Pros: nice volume, sexy phone, slim, a different style of razr (especially for those who like to make statements)
Cons: camera SUCKS, the outside attracts fingerprints, it's fragile, the charging jack is fragile, not a motorola fan
Summary: I had this phone for a week. I was deciding either this one or the chocolate. I picked the krzr because it looked sexy and not many people I know had it. However after just a few hours I realized how annoying this phone really was. The exterior mirror template of the phone attracts fingerprints, so you are CONSTANTLY cleaning the phone. I didn't think it would be that much of a hassle, but IT IS! Such a bad design.
Next when I tried to charge it, the phone said Unauthorized charger. So the charger, that came in the box was defective! I had to go back and get a new one.
Then I realized that there was already a pixel dot on the screen, so when it went black, there would be this little spot on the screen.
Next the charging jack broke after three days!! I didn't do anything to it. The thing covering the charger place wouldn't fit and so it just hung loose, which was really annoying. Of course it was just attached by a tiny rubber string! hmmm.
The last straw was when I set different ringtones for my contacts. At first it was working, but one day it just kept ringing the default ringtone for a person I set a special one for.
Overall, it is a really appealing phone. It's sleek and sexy. (especially if you are into the razr crave) BUT! The whole cleaning it every 2 seconds, and the fact that it was fragile and there was some problems in the software of the phone (boo motorola) is such a downplay in this phone.
I returned it after a week and exchanged it for a green chocolate, which I am now in love with. Who cares if everyone has it, you can personalize it with your favorite color!
