Motorola Krzr K1m (US Cellular)

Summary: I got this phone for Christmas when I was 12 and had it for about 2 years. It was my first phone, and I absolutely loved it...at first. I tend to be a clumsy person, but even with the protective cover on the phone, the front still managed to get cracked. I went through THREE Krzrs until out contract expired and I could get a new phone. Now that phones are much more technologically advanced, this phone probably isn't even up for consideration for most people. Unless all you look for in a phone is to be able to make calls and take a couple pictures, then don't buy it. It's a nice first phone for a kid, but other than that, it's nothing special.
Besides, I'm pretty sure the carriers that had these in stock have discontinued them.

Summary: I have had this phone about 5 months and I am suprised it has lasted this long. It is very light weight and does not feel durable. I am constantly worried about dropping it or breaking parts off. It also has an mp3 player with excellent playback, and the ability to play mp3 songs as ringtones with excellent quality (once you figure out how). The only downside to this is that it takes a while to load, and will sometimes turn itself on while it is in my pocket. Trust me, it is akward to be sitting talking with someone, and having seether start playing on your phone, when you KNOW it's on vibrate. Despite these drawbacks, it is a fairly nice little phone.
