"Good phone, poor software"
Pros: Great shape, easy to use, battery life
Cons: software is pretty boring
Summary: I have been using the razr for 8 months now and one thing i always hated about it was the battery life is very poor. I liked the look of the pebl and got one on ebay 2 weeks ago. When i first got it i really liked it. The auto open mechanism seems to work very good and after a few days i really liked it as it makes one hand opening extremely easy which is very good in a car. I also really like the size and form of the phone. It is not as thing as the razr but is quite a bit shorter and not as wide and it is slimmer than many other flip phones. It fits well into the pocket and the roundedness makes it very comfortable. The outer screen may seem wierd but it is very functional. The time is easily read as are signal and battery life, it is back light with a blueish-purple light and is very brite and looks good. I prefer this over the color one on the razr as it doesn't drain the battery as fast, but it cannot show photos of a caller but does show caller id(name and number). On the inside the keys are similar to the razr but smaller. I find them easy to use and no problem, the screen is very nice, it is about the size of most other flip phones, smaller than the razr but the quality is very good, the screen is very crisp, sharp, brite, and does fade in the sun but it still pretty easy to read. My only dislike of the phone is the software, it comes with only 3 "themes" or skins for menu settings and i do not like any of them, and all the backgrounds are also very bad. Mine is a factory verison not tmobile so i assume tmobile will load some more on, but other wise i will have to download some from tmobile. Motorolas software is normally much slower than other phones but on this it seems faster than normal, maybe a little faster than the razr which i do like. The speaker quality is good and you can hear callers fine, the vibrate is also decent. Now my main attraction to the phone is the battery life seems very good. I would barely get 2 days out of my razr, and so far after charging the first time for 12 hours, it lasted about 6 days of the same usage i did on the razr. this is my second charge of another 12 hour charge over night and i am on day 5 and on the battery meter i still have 5 bars so i really like that. Lastly this came with motorola mobile phone tools which i was hopeing would be improved but alas it is not. this is the single worst piece of software i have ever used, when i try to make custom wallpapers it does not fit them to the right size and they look terrible on the phone, while on the razr it works fine, also it doesn't not do custom ring tones as the files do not save correctly and get corupted on the phone after you transfer them on both razr and pebl. I also hope the auto open lasts, it does seem well built.

My t-mobile pebl and razr that I previously owned did not come with motorola phone tools. I went to BestBuy and baught it and everything worked great. You must not have a clue what you are doing. Same battery life in both phones by the way.

You can't charge a phone over night. After a very short amount of time it will make the battery life decrease dramatically. If you do this with your PEBL, the samething will happen. Just trying to help

You must be joking. Your nuts man. I highly disagree with that. But if your using bluetooth it does drain the battery quicker but not to the point where it would be considered poor. I own the razr and have not felt that way about it. I know people that have the razr and they don't complain. Now lets talk about a phone that has poor battery life wheather it's using bluetooth or not. The sony ericsson t630. I upgraded to the razr mainly because of that. It was a good phone but the battery life sucked big time.
