"Doesn't do what it's supposed to"
Pros: It's cute, it's sleek, it's trendy looking
Cons: None of the cool features actually work properly
Summary: I bought my Razr in May of 2007 and it started showing some quirks right off the bat. The first quirk, no matter how loud you set the ringer, you can?t hear it ring, especially in the car, in the mall, or other busy places. I just figured it was a quirk and let it go. My BIGGEST issue with this phone is it?s inability to receive picture messages, audio messages, or messages more than 100 characters without crashing. Even picture files as small as 5kb throw this phone into fits worse than my toddler! Usually it will lock up, crash, then reboot itself when it receives such a message, sometimes over and over again for half an hour or more. I have worked with my provider (T-Mobile) on this and today I receive my 4th replacement phone. All replacement phones have had the same issue from the moment I turn them on and send a small test message. Occasionally this also happens when I receive calls. A call will come in, I flip open the phone to answer and CRASH! I lose the call because the phone reboots itself! Another beef is that if you store more than a name and number for your contacts, you can not store that contact to the SIM card. What the heck is the use of having a sim card if you can?t store the important stuff on it, and everything is lost when you have to get a replacement phone?
