Motorola Razr V3m (silver, Verizon Wireless)

Pros: Sleek design

Cons: Only plays Microsoft's WMA music format.

Summary: The RAZR V3m in reality is not the cell phone you want to purchase if you want to use it as your MP3 player. Verizon Wireless will tell you that it will only play WMA music which can be purchased throught VCAST service or other music formats that are converted by Windows Media Player.

You can only browse the VCAST store from the RAZR V3m or your Windows PC running WMP 10 or higher. That leaves the MAC world out in the cold.

We are looking for tools to convert MP3 to WMA - but, for now none of the software I looked at will tackle this protected format of Microsoft.

You should consider KRZR K1m from Verizon - it does support MP3 music.
