"USE IN USA (AS WELL AS AROUND THE WORLD)"
Pros: Sturdier phone than other v3x, great camera and video quality
Cons: Weak reception, short battery life
Summary: Yes, I got an unlocked v3x direct from Italy, because I was doing extensive traveling in Japan (3G network). But it does work in the U.S. and works fairly well. It is one of the few phones out there that can accept all networks from around the world.
Reception is not as strong as the other v3 models; my kids have v3 and they have better signal in certain areas when I don't get any! But I'm very happy with mine, esp. since I travel a lot. I also like the additional memory I can add in the back (the tiny compact memory card).
Camera quality is superior; it has lenses in front and back. I also like the focus feature and the little light for low levels.
Battery life is short; after 2 days of intensive use, I have to recharge again. Which is why I have to carry a spare in my wallet.
I love it that its sturdy, especially for an abuser like me; I don't know how many times I've dropped it with nary a scratch. I love the hard rubber feel around the phone.
There is a reason why it is the flagship model of the Razr; I'd just wish they'd improve phone reception on it.
