"Neighbours envy owners pride"4.5 starson by Somnath
Pros: Looks, weight, interface, reception, features
Cons: no megapixel camera
Summary: All those Americans on CDMA who hate Motorola for making SLVR L7 for GSM - tell your operators to go for GSM leaving age old CDMA behind - the whole world really laughs at you!
We in India dont have much CDMA and have all featured GSM networks and really we in India and CHina provide more sales in cell phones to Nokia and Motorola than you can ever imagine - we make up the world. So listen to what the world likes and try to follow it for your own betterment.
The phone is superb in every way - the keypad lights will take your breath away, it is soooo slimmmm, and has still + movie camera and 260K color screen - Ohhh my gosh! The interface is so cool - it has skins, mp3 and video players, free 128MB external memory card that is expandable upto 512 MB, mp3 ringtones - I set all my fav music as my ringtones!
The one and only issue that I found with this phone could be asking for too much at such a throwaway price of only $250 (ya we get it in India for $250 and not $450 as you Americans pay for). The phone has VGA camera i.e. it take good quality pics but only at 640x480 resolution. It is not a megapixel camera. However, I dont expect my phone to take the best pics, I have a pro camera for that.
All in all - superb peice of work. Good job Motorola. Keep it up!
