The Bottom Line The attractive Motorola Slvr L7e has a few notable upgrades from the L7, such as a megapixel camera and EDGE support, but it still suffers from stiff keys that are a bittoo close to the surface of the phone. Motorola's Slvr L7 puts a prettier face on the iTunes phone, but its low-resolution camera, its sluggish music-player performance, and the limitations on the iTunes usability are big distractions. The Motorola Slvr L7c for Sprint is a more powerful alternative to the GSM Slvr L7, but it comes with some minor design differences. If you can get it at a bargain price, the Motorola Slvr L6 is a solid option for users who want a functional phone with sexy looks, but true phone fanatics will be disappointed. The Motorola Rokr E8 is a top choice for a T-Mobile music phone, if you can master the phone's novel, though slightly quirky, controls.
