"Fun little phone"
3.0 starson by CrestlinedadPros: Slim, easy to use
Cons: Very fragile, breaks easy.
Summary: It's a good little phone, has excellent blue tooth abilities. I'm a cellphone tech and I see these phones all the time. The V3 Razr though will break easy if dropped. The hinged area of these phones are very easy to break. When they do break you have to replace the front housing, (about $18.00), the keyboard (about $40.00) and about half the time the metal keymat (about $30.00) Labor involved is going to be around $35.00. Parts for the black special edition Razr though are not available and needs to be sent back to Motorola for the repairs.

OK, so it costs money to fix a cell phone or replace its components when you abuse it, so what's your point? This is a great phone that Motorola actually used aircraft quality deep anodized aluminum for the housing rather than the plastic of most other manufacturers. Additionally, it's low mass (weight) delivers less inertial shock should it be inadvertantly dropped.

No cell phone is intended to survive abuse and/or a drop to the ground. I've worked within the wireless retail market for well over three years and it still amazes me that those who break their phones or allow them to become waterlogged expect the retailer that originally sold them the equipment to replace/repair said equipment at little or no cost to them. Take on some personal responsibility people!
