"Oh what a fool I am...This phone was the best."
Pros: Awesome call quality. Well built phone. This phone never dropped the call.
Cons: Flimsy antenna
Summary: I really,really miss this phone. There was nothing else like it as far as quality on the market. I'm so mad at myself for cow-towing to society and getting a phone with bells and whistles (ie camera and ringtones)
People could never discern whether I calling them from my house or cell phone..it was that clear. I could be in the back of Walmart, a car tunnel, the middle of nowhere with very few cell towers, and always had the clearest of reception.
The other amazing thing about this phone was its durability. In the user guide on the very first page there was this promise by motorolla about the durability of the phone. It has said something like, they had ran it over, dropped from high, boiled it, took a hammer to it, and it would still function. And it.was.all.true. I dropped this phone a lot, threw it in frustratiton after a phone calla with someone, accidenttally left it out on the hottest of days, got it wet in the ocean and it still kept ticking.
The only thing I ever had to replace was the antenna, twice in 4 years for 3.99.
Whoever designed this phone, needs to build a slighty more modern version. I would by one for everyone in my family, even with the flimsy antenna.
