    "Nextel. Done" on by JunFan08

Pros: Cool design, decent camera, excellent inner display, good reception, nice variety of features

Cons: Outer case scratches/ shows wear easily, no Bluetooth?!, camera spotlight should have been a flash

Summary: The i860 is definitely the best phone that Nextel has introduced so far. It's compact and relatively lightweight design, coupled with a sleek color scheme and innovative hinge flip make it fun and modern looking.
As far as features, the phone offers all of the traditional Nextel features as in previous phones....with an added twist.

The newest features, a large outer LCD and camera are a nice addition. The camera produces images that I would have to say are above average for a cell phone, and although it has a spotlight built into the front, it does little in dark places. A flash would have been more applicable.
The outer LCD works like the traditional caller ID, but is larger and easier to read.
The inner LCD is a real treat, the largest that Nextel has ever put into a phone, and offers vibrant colors and pictures.

The i860 gets great reception (in areas I know to have reception) and transmits clearly.
My only real problem with the phone is the fact that the glossy outer case scratches and shows wear easily. While the lack of Bluetooth is excusable until the next model, it should have been a feature in a phone of this caliber. The flip hinge, while novel, is also a little stiff, requiring a little more force to close than would have been needed.
Overall, i think this a solid product with good qualities that outweigh it's flaws. It will be interesting to see how Nextel/Motorola builds on the next model.

I have had this phone three months, the way the phone is made, there are 2 little places that stick out next to the bottom inner microphone, the phone does snap close, causing these to hit the top piece next to the speaker everytime you close it. My top piece has cracked and the crack is now spreading down the LCD screen. I would expect a better quality for the price I paid.
