"works well enough" on by heineken67
Pros: durable, easy to use, cheap
Cons: sometimes not loud enough, somewhat large
Summary: Up until the antenna broke on mine it was a nice phone. A bit big, but worked well enough that I could forget its lack of style. For being the "free phone with plan" it was an excellent deal.

"Great phone. I used one for 2 years." on by davews546wa
Pros: Tri-mode, easy to use
Cons: small screen and position of power button
Summary: I went from a motorola v120c to a v120e. I like the gps location feature. It is easy to handle and use with just 1 hand. I was able to use the v120e everyplace I go because it has analog as well as cdma digital.
The small screen and position of the power button were the only things I disliked about it. Most phones now have the power button integrated with the end button.
There were times when I had the phone turned off at work or in silent mode and it took over 10 rings before voice mail kicked in-that I was told by my wife. -
"Perfect phone for the drunk and clumsy!" on by elig86
Pros: Bright screen, durable and does the bare minimum a phone is supposed to do.
Cons: "Is that a phone in your pocket, or are you happy to see me? No that's way to big to be a phone"
Summary: This was my first phone, and let me tell you it survived many many falls. more than these pansy, touch screen phones ever could!

"2 phones in almost 2 years" on by jpalmer
Pros: decent keypad, good set of features
Cons: so so battery life, poor reception, poor quality charger connector
Summary: I've gone through 2 of these phones in the past 2 years nearly, one being the older 120c with the feeble green backlit display and it worked OK until the connector port on the bottom of the phone went out so I could not charge the battery. The second phone is the 120e I think that has the blue display (and it's much easier to see in low light as a result) but reception was even worse and the jack for the headset does not work at all. And now almost a year later, the chargers (both home and car) need to be pushed in really good to make contact and the car charger won't stay connected without coming out while using.
I know people who can both make and receive phone calls inside of buildings and often I can't. My phone now beeps whenver the receptions is shoddy while inside the grocery store and the previous phone never did that that I was aware of.
The display is OK, keypad is OK and I liked the features it has but that's about it though.
I've had 2 other phones and I think they were better phones. The first being when I was with Soicestream (now Verizon) and it was the then new Nokia 6150 and the second phone was through Qwest and it was the Kyocera thin phone, tri-mode. Outside of it locking up at times and being partially smashed by my car hood (worked fine but the display was broken and I had to reconnect the battery but still worked for a short while) near the end of my time with Qwest, it did well.
This is by far the worst of the phones I've own since 1999. -
"Nearly Useless" on by mmabey
Pros: Good battery life in home town
Cons: Unable to make or receive calls in ~70% of coverage area
Summary: We have two of these phones and they have great battery life and one has survived my clumsiness, falling out of my shirt pocket several times with no change in performance. Frankly I'm not sure if my gripe is with the 120e phone or the Verizon network. The phones are next to useless since most of the time, when well within the "coverage area", calls can neither be made nor received. Most aggravating is that the calls are impossible when the phone shows anything less than 4 bars! It wouldn't be quite so aggrevating if it at least admitted there was "No Service" I previously had a first generation Audiovox digital phone with Verizon, an analog phone with ATT and a GTE TeleGo phone at the dawn of the cell phone era. All of those gave much better performance. Beware, this product will likely harm your productivity. I can't imagine anyone being even slightly satisfied with the performance I've recieved from this phone on the Verizon network.
