    "Good basic phone"

by hugaliciousgurl on May 26, 2005

    Pros: rich screen color

    Cons: short battery life

Summary: I have had this phone for about a week and so far am liking it just fine. It's a nice size and the keys are spaced enough so that I don't accidently hit the wrong key. It really is a basic phone (I'm a basic chick) but it has some nice features such as personalized rings (there are over 50), a number of pics for wallpaper, and my personal favorite, the ability to program multiple alarms.

Of course, as with any phone, there are negatives. Number one for me is the inability to delete certain things such as unnecessary text messages and alarms. If I missed it and there is a way to delete let me know 'cause I have yet to find it.

The second thing that bothers me is the short battery life. With my previous phone (a Nokia) I could go without recharging for at least five days and that's with over an hour of talktime. With the Motorola, I find that I am charging the phone every other day with barely half an hour of talktime.

The third thing I can do without is having multiple contacts for the same person. For example, I have my friend Tanyah in my contacts three separate times. I would prefer to have her name listed one time and then be able to view the various phone numbers.

Since I have only had this phone for a week, I may decide that the cons outweigh the pros but for now it'll do.
    Updated
Well, thanks to darc (who left helpful comments) and T-Mobile, I'm enjoying my phone a lot more. I've figured out my deletion problems and now that I've used my phone a little more, I'm really liking it. My rating has been upgraded to a seven.

take the phone back to the dealer get a new battery, charge it for 10 hours and let it run down completely and recharge until it says charge complete. My battery lasts for 2 weeks with moderate use.

You can delete those messages just bring them up and press menu and delete you have to do them one at a time. If you store your numbers to the phone you can store multable contacts contacts
