"Love it for the Navigator function"
Pros: Navigation, good reception, good feel to it
Cons: Back cover tough to fit properly, but fits
Summary: Without Navigation, this would be just a good, reliable, tri mode phone. However with Navigation it is an indespensible tool for me in sales.
I had been researching getting a auto GPS unit to help me get around the city. I was turned off by the cost. When I found out about Navigator on this phone, I jumped at the chance to try it out for 15 days. I love it. It draws you a map and gives you voice guidence to where you are going. You need to have cell service to download the maps, but once you have it, GPS will get you there if you don't make any wrong turns. If you do make a bad turn, you need cell service to get a new map.
Here is the scoop on the phone. If you would like to have Navigation with constantly updating maps at a fraction of what stand alone Navigation costs, especially updating maps, you will like this. If you are tired of driving in the dark, trying to read Mapquest maps to go to appointments,or night vision is getting worse because you are getting older, or just want tri-mode service for dependability or don't need a high resolution camera, or web browsing, or PDA function, built into your phone, this is probably the phone for you.
Honestly, for all the reasons listed above, you could not pry this phone out of my hands at any price.Updated
I have had the phone 2 months now. Still love the Navigation feature for getting around the city(Colorado Springs). As a salesman, I wouldn't be without it.
