"Not the best...."
Pros: Camera is awesome!
Cons: I missed some features from my old Samsung phone.
Summary: It's bulky...big flaw. The camera was fantastic, but unlike my old Samsung camera phone, there was no frontal viewer when taking a picture of yourself. The phonebook...I like that you didn't have to scroll to see the whole number, but you had to create a whole new entry for someone with two phone numbers, and when I switched my SIM card over, I had the same name listed multiple times because of the amount of numbers I had for them. In my other phone, all numbers were listed under one entry with a unique symbol for home or cell or work, etc. Another thing I didn't like was if you had it on vibrate or silent or didn't hear a text message come through...you wouldn't know you received one until you looked at the phone. My old phone had a light on the front of it that flashed when there was a new message or missed call. This Motorola had the same problem with alerts. One more thing...I didn't find the layout of keys for txt msging the easiest.
If you are upgrading from a poor feature phone, this is great! But if you are used to a well put together high feature phone...stick with it!

I have had service w/ T-mobile only since 7/28/05 and bought the v330 motorola. I an awaiting now for my FOURTH replacement!!!! They're customer service is HORRIBLE!!! I spoke w/ a supervisor last night b'cause I am suppose to be elibable for the multiple exchang program, where they send u a new different, but compatible phone, and they say they have NO compatible phones to the V330 and will continue to keep sending me the same phone. I've had nothing but PROBLEMS with the phone. NO SOUND!!! The LCD'S inside and out totally black, and on one of them the phone would ring for 5 min and it wouldn't let me answer it, I had to remove the battery to make it stop ringing and and to access my VM to get my messages, hence, went over 4 min on my plan, DO THEY CARE??? NO!!!! The supervisor I talked to last night said to me, and believe me I was FLOORED, he said WE DON'T OWE YOU ANYTHING!!! YOUR NOT A "TENYEAR" meaning I haven't been with them for a year yet, and he hung up on me. NOW THAT WAS A SUPERVISOR!! What am I to do. Cannot get a phone that will stay working and then they treat me like crap! I hate the V330 now because everyone they send doesn't work properly and now T-Mobile want to talk to me like that! It's UNHEARD OF!!! Anyone have any suggestions???? I still have a year contract w/ them! I told them I would even downgrade to a non-bluetooth phone and they wouldn't even send me one. UGH!!!!!!

As far as the phone list issue, there is a way to change it so there is only one name listed and then the numbers for them under the name. Then no sound for the SILENT mode or vibrate, when recieving text messages? Why would you want sound if you have the phone set to be quiet? I dont know why you would complain about the layout of the keys for the text messaging, its just like any other phone. Actually I think this phone has an advantage over other phones when it comes to inputing text. The I-tap software this thing comes with is awesome. You only have to press the number button that pertains to the letter you want once and then hit the next number button, after punching all the numbers the phone makes the most logical guess as to what word you want and for me it has been spot on. Got some weird words you use all the time? ex. lol gtg..... the phone will remember for the next time you go to type it in.
