"Great features but I would NOT buy this phone again!"
Pros: LOVE the screen, color, BATTERY LIFE, key lay out. Easily navigatable menues, bright and vivid screen.
Cons: Bad bad BAD reception!!
Summary: First of all, Motorolo did their homework on this phone(well cept one thing). I wanted the V300 but lord knows WHAT Motorola was thinking with the keys. So I waited and got the V330. Camera works good, accept the little lense is recessed and constantly gets dirt and lint in it.Its so small, its hard to find something to get in there and clean it out. Screen is very vivid and bright--luv the screen! Menu layout is nice and easy to navigate. Motorola improved my biggest ***** bout the ease of sending txts that I experienced with my old V60. Love the battery life, never had a phone perform so well in this regard.
But unfortunately, the HORRIBLE reception (and from an external antenna???) makes me wanna hurl this phone across the room on a nearly daily basis. The reception was horrible from the get...All my calls invariable contain the repeated phrase "Sorry, what was that?" I have been with T Mobile/VS for 5 years and never had such bad reception. Luv the phone, but the most important factor of a cell just aint there--reception. :-\

The v330 has the best reception of all the v-series phones. Some hints go into your settings and change the scan to contiinuous if this doesent help take the phone back and try your sim in another v330 there might be a loose antenna conection

The v330 has the best RF of any of the vseries phones out now. I would take it back to the dealer and try your sim in another v330. The problem might be a faulty antenna conection.
