I purchased this phone through Suncom (AT&T) and just got a flyer stating I have to exchange my phone for a V180 or V220 Motorola. I would see this as a disgrace if they make me downgrade to use Cingular. Since they too offer the V400 I dont see why mine has to be disabled. The Cingular takeover is very confusing and I have to see what can be done with my phone to recieve service before June 1st 2005. Thank you for the information.
