"Great phone for the price, but nothing special if you don't get a bargain deal"
Pros: good sound quality, it DOES play mp3 for ring tones, all the usual web browsing features, display looks nice, lots of aftermarket accessories
Cons: For a while it was dropping calls, short battery life, bulky, older and cheaper model which means no bells and whistles of new models
Summary: I guess I can't really complain about this phone's cons because I got this phone for free after rebate over a year ago, and it still works great. However, I'm pretty sure this thing is discontinued, so good luck finding a free deal like this.
For $0 after rebate, I got a phone that has a large display, plays mp3 ringtones, takes pictures (low quality), has good sound quality, and does all the usual texting and web browsing.
That said, some of the cons you get for the cheapo price: The phone dropped lost the signal for every single call 15 minutes into the call. This continued several months before it subsided completely on it's own. It's bulky and the antenna protrudes, which takes away from the portability. The battery life and talk time on this phone is short. I don't talk on the phone a lot but I charge it quite frequently. the web service, being a 2G technology, is obviously slow, which isn't a problem until you see what's capable with all the expensive, 3G models of today.
Oh well, anyone who reads this review, it's not gonna matter anyway, because this phone's discontinued. Regardless, I own this phone and this is what I experienced with it. As soon as I find a 3G bluetooth phone with a good plan I'm probably gonna switch.
