"good but with its share of problems"
Pros: Fits well in your hand, volume is decent, speakerophone is loud.
Cons: Terrible battery life! Awful user interface, bad camera quality, buttons sometimes unresponsive
Summary: I like this phone overall, but there are some moderate annoyances. First of all the camera sucks. Luckily I have a real camera, and didn't buy this phone for the camera, or I might be more pissed off. WHile the speakerphone is good, its on the back of the phone, so you have to turn it over when you are talking to it, or it doesn't pick up your voice well. I got my phone on AT&T service in the Bay Area after the Cingular Takeover, but they still offered some AT&T services. I liked the ONE year contract, rather than the 2 year Cingular one. WHile they do support the phone, there are NO games available whatsoever. Even the demo that comes with the game is playable (you have to access the web to play it) yet when you click to buy it, it is unavailable. Wtf? Anyway, I think the craftsmanship is good on this phone, solid. I like the external LCD (blue-lit) but the internal LCD gets greasy just by using the phone. You can never get it to not have smudges, wiping it just swirls it. Grrr. The absolute worst part of this phone is the battery life. My girlfriend and my friend also have this phone and the battery life is so bad its not funny. If you do not charge this phone every night, it will die the next day. This is not the nokia I had before it. There are barely any accessories for the phone either, i.e. car charger, which is almost necessary because of the poor battery life. User interface is cumbersome and takes a lot of button presses, something like 6 presses just to send out a text message to a single person!!! Overall cheap phone, but you get what you pay for.

This phone has lots of good features, BUT using them isn't easy. I bought this phone for the Bluetooth, text message, and speakerphone capability. What a mistake!
The Bluetooth has been a nightmare from the first day, as for reasons unknown to me and AT&T/Cingular Tech support, when I charge/turn on or turn off my bluetooth device the phone initates a call. Fortunately is consistently dialed my husband, but we both quickly tired of the "What's up, I didn't call you" conversations.
The text message really does work well, but I think a QWERTY keyboard would suit me better, as it really takes to long to tap out replies.
The speakerphone is an exercise in frustration as the feature is not available until the call actually connects. Meaning you can hit speaker and listen to the phone ring, forcing you to delay your handsfree use. Not useful when you have a newborn or are trying to drive.
Overall I hate this phone! I hate waiting for the answer feature to finally come up so I can answer a call. The stock ring tone goes off even if the phone is set to vibrate or silent. Which has happened several times and is guaranteed to wake up the baby. The battery life is too short. I miss my Nokia.
