"I have a good phone... supposedly"
Pros: camera, color screen...
Cons: reception and defects
Summary: Brand new out of the package, and the microphone doesnt work... always have to have my hands-free kit so that I can have actual conversations without having to yell for the other person to hear me. Also, since taken out of the package, buttons sometimes dont have an effect when pushed, and must be pushed twice. Reception is VERY sensitive and limited... I thought it was the service, but my sister's phone gets perfect reception while I am holding my phone up to get 2 bars (I usually only have 1 when at home). It also interferes with television and stereo speakers when making calls.

The defects you've mentioned in your opinion seem pretty bad and justification enough to get yours replaced or find a new one. The purpose of my comment is to point out that most mobile phones cause problems with monitors (CRT) and speakers when in use. I suppose the strength and type of the radio signal used in mobile phone technology just causes that. Just thought you should know.
