    "Broken Antenna" on

    Pros: Flip Phone

Cons: Antenna Design is a Failure - I had the Antenna replaced 4 times - where my previous startack never had a breakage issue. The Antenna is not integrated into the hosting design - a simple push on the Antenna causes it to snap off requiring a $35 repair

"This phone is a mechanical distaster" on

    Pros: Simple Flip. Decent Features.

Cons: My biggest grip with this phone is the antenna. 3 month warranty from my provider. At precisely month 4, I dropped this crap phone and then the antenna broke. Repaired for $40. A month later, drop it again on my desk the(1 inch distance from my desk) it b

"One of the best flips out there." on

Pros: I've never had problems with this one. Keeps charge for long periods of inactivity. Always has strong signal. Not sure what difference it makes, but mine is a V60gi offered from Cinglar. It has very good sound, and basic features. Easy to change looks

Cons: Lack of MP3 or fancy tones. Wish it had them. Also, the calendar functions are min.

Pros: looks nice, small, intuitive menu, reasonable sound quality, long battery life

Cons: warranty was voided after 3 months because of "water damage" this phone never got wet. I've had cell phones for years, they have fallen in puddles, used in the rain etc. this one must suck moisture from the air. this phone regularily drops digits from the

"I would buy another one." on by TheMano

Pros: Excellent call quality, sexy design, awesome battery life. Loud ringtones.

    Cons: Absotulely NONE!!!

Summary: I don't know if I can put into words how much of a pleasure it was owning this phone. This was one of, if not the best phone Motorola has ever produced. It is truly a gem. First of all, there wasn't a carrier who didn't have this phone. I've checked, and EVERY carrier had this phone. The funcionality was and is still unmatched. There has been no phone that has been so practical, yet so exclusive, and sexy at the same time. I don't think it mattered which carrier you had, the service with this phone was always top notch. I don't think even MetroPCS could have tainted this phone if they were around when it was introduced, and they have the worst service ever. I purchased this phone used on eBay for use on the T-Mobile GSM network. I don't think there was a place this phone didn't get reception. When I received the phone the previous owner had installed a antenna stub in place of the original antenna. This prevented me from getting crystal clear calls in my bedroom, unless I was under my window sill, but that wasn't the phone, that was the previous owner. As soon as I left my room, 5 bars! The whole layout of this phone was well done. Kudos to Motorola. This phone is like no other. Even after its introduction about 6 years ago, it is stilled offered by some carriers (Sprint's v60v CDMA version, Verizon's v60p/v60c CDMA version). When I tried removing the antenna stub that the original owner put on the phone, i ended up breaking it off completely. Did that stop the phone from working, NOT AT ALL. I still got 5 bars in most places, with NO ANTENNA! I could gush about this phone for hours, but I'm just going to say that if anyone drops one of their flimsy new samsungs or takes their phone for a swim, the v60g is an awesome back up plan, and it might become your permanent plan. With T-Mobile GSM service, its near painless, just pop in your SIM card and your ready to go. I actually had to go back to mine when my P.O.S. V300 started giving me problems. I have a separate review on here for that crap. Believe me when I say, if you currently have this phone and have no reason to upgrade, DON'T. These new phones have a fraction of the quality and talk time put into this phone.
