"A gem! It's retired, sadly."
Pros: Battery lasts forEVER. A week easily on standby, three days with intermittent talking!
Cons: Headsets are hard to come by, and the plug for it is weird.
Summary: My old Virgin Slice got stolen and I was looking for a cheap phone to hold me over. I picked this one up in a garage sale. I was pleasantly surprised.
The screen is monochrome, so it looks really uh... vintage? But it's text-capable, and even has T9 text recognition!
In addition to that, it has a nice keypad, with no cracks between the keys, so gunk doesn't accumulate there.
But most importantly.... even after god knows how many years in a sock drawer, the battery lasts a week without recharging! And the reception is amazing!
I was pleasantly surprised. Nokia is a very solid brand, and I'm really wishing now that Virgin carried more Nokia phones...
