Pros The phone is pretty cheap (should be £50 max), has an acceptable camera that for 2.0mp takes decent photographs & its easy to use out of the box.
Cons The buttons need a little bit of encouragement when pressing.
Summary I picked up this phone because my usual phone (tmobile G1) is useless in the signal black hole that is my new house. I needed a cheap PAYG phone on a different network.
For the price (£45) it is an absolutely fantastic phone. It looks great for a start. I literally took it out of the box and was able to use it straight away.
I'm not going to go into a huge amount of detail, but i will say that if you either need a cheap but good looking phone, or your someone who doesn't care for touch screens & just needs something to call & text on - then this is the phone you should buy.
My only annoyance is the key pad needs to be pressed quite hard - but only half a star lost for this (i've been using touch screen phones for quite a long time,so could just be a case of unfamiliarity).
Pros Battery life.
Easy to use.
Cons Cannot hear the caller. Put my SIM card into my wife's Samsung T Mobile (7 years old) with an external antenna, we hear great from the same caller from the same location. Must be the external antenna which is 1/4" thick by about 1" sticking out.
Summary Looking for a new phone with stronger reception and/or speaker.
"o.k. for the price"on by bl14
Pros full featured, easy to use, good battery life, good reception
Cons camera is miserable
Summary Great for international traveler- that's why my mom bought it as an unlocked prepaid. Easy to use common sense Nokia, feature packed. I would prefere a louder ringer, a common problem with most phones lately.
Real disappointment is the camera, supposedly 2 mp, but in reality worse than my 1.3 mp camera on my old Nokia 6133. Pictures are not sharp.
I would still recommend it, but if a decent camera is important to you, look somewhere else.
Pros battery life
look and feel
call quality is excellent
Cons no room for descriptions in calendar entries
Summary This phone is feature packed. PC syncing, bluetooth, PIM functions, camera/video camera, email, web browser, phone as a modem, and Nokia maps; what else could you want in a phone that costs $100 without contract? I couldn't be happier with it.
Pros good basic phone
easy to use
surprisingly good for texting after a while
good battery life
Nokia has a good PC suite to connect your phone to your PC
Cons the silver rim comes off and turns black.
Summary its a good phone if your a traveler.
dosent attract attention.
Ive used it for a while now and it works good you can expect it to work of a couple of years.
