"User error = poor battery life" on by OccamsChainsaw
Pros: Good feature set, good performance. Not too small, sleek. Decent mp3 player once you adjust the equalization
Cons: Earpiece audio is OK - not great. Speakerphone audio is better. Audio may be better with a Bluetooth headset, but I've not test that hypothesis yet.
Summary: Trust me -- the battery life is fine. I'm willing to bet 99% of the problem is that by default Bluetooth is on AND it is constantly scanning for another BT device. If you don't have/use BT, turn it ***OFF***. Your standby battery charge will last for DAYS and you'll have hours of talk-time. Texting is another matter...
If you DO have BT, pair up the devices you need and then set your phone's visibility to HIDDEN. -
"BAD BATTERY!!! Bad phone!!!!!!!!" on by pop97korn
Pros: It works ok... good memory and camera works fine. Its nice to have the blu tooth. Music player works good.
Cons: Bad battery! It turns off on its own! Mostly during a phone call! You cant just have it on vibrate! It just broke for no reason. It turns on turns off about 5 times.
Summary: I would not get it unless you dont use your phone allot!!!! It works then quits.

"BATTERY! BATTERY! BATTERY!" on by jplaura02
Pros: Sleek phone with good call quality.
Cons: Battery life is non-existent. I have had 2 different phones sent to me by T-Mobile along with 3 different batteries, one which I bought on e-bay. All with same results: after 60 minutes of airtime, battery meter shows 70% low.
Summary: DO NOT BUY!

"Do not buy - Nothing but problems !" on by ladywideglide
Pros: None - Absolutly nothing good to say about this phone at all
Cons: Turns off ALL THE TIME
Battery does not last
It would turn off - completley shut off in the middle of texting, in the middle of talking -
phone turning off all the time & being unaware important phone calls were missed, espically from my kidsSummary: Save your money. Do not waste your time on this phone or any Nokia product as far as I am concerned. It has caused nothing but problems and headaches. I can not beleive that Nokia would even put a product out there that sucks so bad. I honestly can not think of one positive thing to say about this phone. Thats very sad.

"The Nokia 3555 is a terrible phone" on by kenjc
Pros: I liked nothing about the Nokia 3555
Cons: The Nokia 3555 has very poor battery life, and cuts itself off at random.
Summary: I rarely use a cell phone, I have never joined this sort of forum, but the sheer uselessness of the Nokia 3555 inspired me to search for other people with the same issues as I had. 1 or 2 days battery life without making any calls. Switching itself off and then not being able to turn back on for a few minutes, either when you are making a call, or when it is in standby mode, are my main frustrations. I must also mention the obtuseness of T-Mobile's sales staff, I sign up for a 2-year contract, and they will not replace the phone, so I either must terminate the contract, or buy a full-priced phone - not much incentive there for them to provide their customers with decent hardware.
