"Great phone, solid, reliable, durable, your basic phone" on by sidereus_lyric

Pros: durable, reliable, great sound quality, color display, great battery life, excellent call quality, easily navigatable menus and easy to use and learn, lightweight., great reception.

Cons: a little bulky sizewise, that rubber finger spot on the back falls off easily.

Summary: My first "color" phone. Bought it back in 2003, and though I have since upgraded a few times, I still have this phone for a backup phone, and it still works just as good as the day I bought it, and it's been through the ringer, but has proved it's durability. "Old faithful." Great for everything you want out of a basic phone, nice lit color screen, GRPS capable, user friendly menus, it's LOUD you will never miss a call b/c you didn't hear it ring! Has a nice selection of colors and ringers (no hi fi or mp3 ringers capable but not a big deal). The call quality and sound is outstanding. All these years later people still hear me clear as a bell. (in fact, i'm using it now as a I await a replacement phone from TMobile). Outstanding battery life....talk until your heart's content. I read about the keyboard being difficult for some people, it never bothered me, and you get used to it. Just a great, great phone. Sometimes I have to push a button twice, or a little harder, but I think the key contacts are probably just worn out from many many uses, and part of normal wear and tear...and not a defect with the phone itself...I probably could just get a new key pad and would work good as new. This is the phone that got me hooked on Nokia's which i've always had a great experience with.

"No Cam No Glam Solid Reliable - NOKIA IS STILL THE BEST" on by JimPr1962

Pros: BASIC & RELIABLE - NO ADDED JUNK LIKE MP3 PLAYERS OR CAMERAS - I HAVE MY OWN HIGH END DIGITAL CAMERA

Cons: DISPLAY IS DIM IN CERTATAIN LIGHTING CONDITIONS

Summary: I want a phone not a bunch of junk in one machine - this is old faithful - dug it out of the closet - gave it a nice new case and I am happy again - NOKIA stiill makes the best phones and Motorola phones dies with 18 months while Nokia keeps on loud and clear. I junked my Motorola V370 and V220 for my old faithful friend!!!

"Great Basic Phone" on by gulickgurl

Pros: Longevity, Battery Life, Durability, Volume, Call Quality

Cons: Not many special features if you're into that.

Summary: This is a fantastic phone! I have had it for a little over 3.5 years and it's great. I know that's a long time in phone life, but that tells you how much I'm hating to part with it.

The phone is a great basic phone. It doesn't have a camera, and it doen't have awesome graphics or any of that fancy pants stuff. It works great for making phone calls, texting if needed, and you can send and receive files. I'm pretty sure that you can access the internet, but I don't use those options....nor have I ever.

The keypad does take some getting used to, but I know how to dial without looking at the keypad. The volume on calls is great. Very adjustable. Same for the ring volume. That is one thing on my husbands phone that we can't stand...you can't hear it ring! But this phone is more than loud enough, and you can change the rings to several different rings. The phone really is customizable.

In all...great phone, great price, all over great buy. Basic Basic Basic phone...but great!

"A Great Basic Phone" on by mamalanie

Pros: Great sound quality, bright screen, easy to use, and hardy phone

Cons: A little bit heavy, charger weight is also heavy, and getting somewhat outdated in today's market.

Summary: My entire family has had this great Nokia phone. As with our past Nokia phones, it has great sound quality and is very reliable.
Compared to other phones out in today's market, this is a basic phone. However, as stated, it is very reliable. Very hardy phone as each of us have dropped it many times and it survived! Since it has been out for so long, accessories are available almost everywhere -- Dollar General, Wal-Mart, etc. -- at low cost. All four family members had great service from this phone model. However, each of us eventually upgraded to phones with additional features.

"Dependable But Basic" on by Jonlul-20706441545869758181839

Pros: Work Horse Phone, Great Battery Life, Easy To Use.

Cons: Keypad is a little difficult to Use.

Summary: This is not a fancy phone. It's your basic Nokia with very little extras packed in compared to other phones on the market. The screen quality is okay. It's not difficult to see or navigate the menus, but it's not vibrant colors. It has very little customizing available. However, the reason I really liked this phone while I had it is because it really is good for what it's basic use is, calling and talking. The battery life is incredible. You can talk and talk and still not be required to charge the battery. It's easy to use and everything is easily displayed on the screen. Nokia's can take a beating, I've dropped this phone MANY times without damaging anything to the phone components. This phone was even crushed one time, the screen turned a solid blue and had to be replaced. However, even when the screen was not visible the phone placed and recieved calls just fine. If you're looking for something more dependable rather than trendy this phone is a great bet. If you're looking for a technology loaded phone then this is not for you.
