Pros: This phone has: great battery life, easy Nokia navigation, good music quality, good looks, cheap price, and much more
Cons: Display resolution (it is pretty good though), external camera
Summary: My new 6085 beats out the previous phones I've owned (I have owned the following phones: Nokia 6030, Nokia N75, and Nokia 2610).
My top criteria in selecting a phone were: battery life, reception, call quality, looks, and cool bonus features. The Nokia 6085 satisfies these requirements and more. If you are looking for a moderately priced multimedia phone that you can rely on, look no further.
I would advise anyone that wants to buy this phone to try it out first. If you are looking for a flashy phone with a ultra high resolution screen and Dolby 5.1-esque speaker quality then this is not the phone for you. If you are looking for a simple, cheap phone that has a lot of extra goodies then check this phone out.

I actually have a question, can anyone tell me how the reception is on the phone when going inside buildings? Also, I was told that this phone just came out like in the last 2 months or so.. is this correct?<br><br>thanks<br>dnjcumberland

I have been using Motorola's for the past yr or so now.. I upgraded in July to an L6 ( bar phone), I got 2 bad phones.. meaning they had something wrong with them when I got them.. On top of the fact that they were programed to be used in SINGAPORE not the USA.. so I sent those two back. They gave me the choice of another bar phone that did not have speakerphone on it.. I have to have speakerphone.. so I got stuck with a V557.. It has all kinds of problems.. so I contacted warranty exchange AGAIN and they gave me the option of the 6085... so I did some research on it(here on cnet) Then my husband took me to the local ATT store and the guy was awesome. He not only showed me the phone and all its features but he actually offered for me to put my sim card in it and play around with it some so I could see if I like it.. I am impressed.... The only thing that i dont care for about the phone at this point is the front mini display.. I wish it was brighter and I wish you could make the numbers and letters larger, doesn't make to much sense that you can change the font on messaging and your address book but cannot change it on the front display.. Anyway, I am really looking forward to getting the phone and trying it out.. <br><br>thanks for the help <br>dnjcumberland
