"Lots of features, easy to use, superb display" on by robkluver
Pros: Fits in the palm of your hand easily -- open the phone by clicking button using one hand, LCD screen is the best one seen so far, lots of features, very customizable, good speaker phone
Cons: In the car it will pick up noise when you are not talking (the RAZR is better in this regard), battery runs out in a couple of days if the LCD screen is on a lot, too easy to hit the camera button
Summary: Highly recommend this phone. The lack of clarity when using the phone in the car can be worked around by using a good Bluetooth headset or hands-free kit.
The quality of the flip seems good, and the spring tension is just right. Using special options menus, one can easily customize the phone menus. It's possible to have your appointment calendar overlayed on the main screen. Many notification options with calendar entries and reminders. Possible to set alarms before the event happens, or just have a reminder.
All the entries in the phone book can be accessed with text-to-speech which seems to work very good. If multiple names are matched it will show a listing on the display. You can then pick a different name in the case that the best match was not the one you wanted. Otherwise it will call automatically within a second or two which everone seems to match well.
The camera is quite decent. I have been able to make prints from pictures taken with highest resolution 1.3MP. The camera does not do too well in poor lighting conditions as pictures become very grainy.
It seems it is not possible to create picture messges with the phone, only multi media messages. You can receive picture messages, though. If you take a picture it is converted to a 6 second video which takes up 10x more space than a picture. The cost for sending the MMS is .15 in stead of .10 (with T-Mobile).
Also I have not been able to get the OperaMini browser (can be downloaded separately) configured to work with packet data on T-Mobile network. T-Mobile does not support this phone, but you can get most of the settings sent to you via the web site. Therefore I can only use the webbrowser which comes with the phone (which still is decent). Also it is not possible for met to download ringtones or wallpapers since my phone is not supported by T-Mobile. Should work if you get a branded phone with Cingular. I bought a un-branded phone and I am happy about that so I don't get all the carrier logos and animations which comes with the phone by default.
The phone is not as flat as the RAZOR but more narrow. It comfortably fits in the jeans pocket or even a shirt pocket (but is slightly heavier than the RAZR).
The black rubberized coating provides a nice feel and good grip.

Mr Robkluver forgot to mention that this MP3 player phone has NO HEADPHONE JACK and the USB connection can only be used with a proprietary cable that will cost around $50.
