    "Nice phone, very impressed!"

by phonebuff on May 6, 2005

Pros: Bluetooth, MP3's, 2 clr displays, solid feel, nice keypad

Cons: menu key a bit small

Summary: I've had this phone three weeks now, given it heavy use, and thought post my two cents on it.

So far, so good! Overall, a real nice phone. The phone has a nice big internal display screen that has bright colors, and seems to be very bright when lit by the backlight. Nokia has had some less than great displays on some previous phones, but this screen seems exceptional. I also the outside display, which is even color ? and I have been able to use the phone?s menus to put family photos as backgrounds for both the small and big display.

This phone seems very solid. It doesn?t seem to have the squeaks and creaks some phones I have had.

I would call the styling is elegant and professional ? at first I thought might be a bit conservative, but I quickly grew to like this phone?s look. I looks like an expensive phone.

The menu key is a bit small, but this isn?t a major drawback. I simply find that a fingernail is sometimes needed to push this key.

The MP3 option on this phone is awesome! I have had fun downloading songs onto my laptop, and then transferring them to the phone. The memory card works great for storing songs ? this card sits under the battery.

I have tried the speakerphone and found it sound quite good. It works great in the car also for hands-free using the speakerphone.

Have you tried some VGA camera phones and found picture quality terrible? This phone is a surprise for me because although it has a VGA camera, it takes great photos. I had a v300 before this one (GSM phone) and that phone took terrible photos. This 6255i has much better photo quality.

The only reason I didn?t rate this phone a 10 is there are a few phones out there that might be more high tech, such as having a multi-mega pixel camera ? but those phones are also more expensive.

So, overall I have to strongly recommend this phone!
