"Great phone with a few small draw backs"

    by brendan007 on July 31, 2005

Pros: Great camera, bluetooth, OK design, MP3, Card slot, big external screen, good battery and call quality, great games and extras

Cons: flimsy antenna, slightly large, Cant assign MP3s to specific people

Summary: My family just upgraded all our phones. We have nTelos and we looked at cingular but decided the best value was nTelos. I saw this phone online for $150 and i thought that was sort of reasonable for the features. I upgraded from a Nokia 3205 which was given to another family member. I was satisfied with it but it seemed to have limitations such as recordings couldnt be played via loudspeaker for example.

I am very happy with this phone. It seems very functional and capeable. it is sort of big, but compact compared to other flip phones. I had no probems carrying it around in my pocket and im sure it wouldnt pose a problem for a woman to carry in her purse. The camera on it has excelent quality when adjusted for the highest resolution. There is plenty of memory to store videos and photos. I invested in a $40 bluetooth adapter for my computer to send photos and other files and ive had no problems. The videos are good. i was disapointed when cnet said it only records 15 second videos, but when you go into camera options you can choose maximum video length for 3 minutes of video. The external screen is plenty big and vibrant and it has a great flash that lights up a dark room. The looks of this phone arent cutting edge but overall pleasing. I miss the white backlight for my keypad, but the green is quite alright. buttons are big and GREAT for texting i have found

The screen is very nice on this phone big and beautiful. i love it. there were 5 games on this phone and all of them are very entertaining. i noticed under extras there is a world clock, translator for french spanish and portugeese, and a converter for many things like currency, metric, and temperature. these are great little tools and i was shocked how many words are in the translater.

The calls on this phone are good quality and the speakerphone is plenty loud. The voice recorder on this phone is so good i can even make them my rightones and it sounds very decent.

overall this is a great phone. there are some excelent things on it and i see many great things in store for nokia if they keepy up this good work.
