"So Far So Good" on by Furscout
Pros: Nice filp phone with lots of features. Bright display inside and out. Pretty cool ringtones, but there are only 14 of them; so it's good that downloaded songs can be used also. Heaviest ph I've had, feels very solid in your hand. Nice big buttons
Cons: Some people I have called say I sound like I'm at the airport, but call is clear on my end. Dont know if it's a network issue or some interference. Lots of convoluted menus to change settings, but there is a lot of stuff in the phone.
Summary: Overall I like the phone, but I guess there are always things that we would like better no matter what phone we get. I really liked voice-dialing I had on previous LG and Kyocera phones where I could just say the name and the phone would call. However, this Nokia "enhanced" voice-dialing is a joke. It doesnt always understand your voice even though you "train" the phone and even if it does understand you it will only dial the top number listed for that contact which is the mobile number. You can scroll to the desired number after they appear on the screen, but that sort of defeats the purpose of voice-dialing is you have to start pushing a lot of buttons...especially while driving. Battery life is so-so...will last a couple of days with a few hours of talk every day.
I dont understand why other reviewers say they cannot hear the phone ring unless they dont realize the volume can also be adjusted with the phone settings instead of just with the outside rocker switches. It is good and loud when I turn up the volume.
