"A good phone that falls short of being great"
Pros: Edge, Bluetooth, form factor and ok camera
Cons: Software buggy not enough memory
Summary: This is a good phone offered by Cingular, I bought it as an upgrade to the Nokis 6620 which was a great phone but the form factor was a little childish. The camera is pretty good at 1.3 mega pixels and I thought the slider that covers the lens would be a problem but it's held up nicely.
The problem with buying a phone when it first hits the market is all thew bugs me not be worked out.
The call log clears when you shut off the phone, I could not get my headset to work with this phone I had to buy a new BT one that would stay connected. I would guess the next version of software will be more stable so if you could wait a few months I would.
Now the real falw with this phone is the lack of internal memory! I believe it's 8mb and not nearly enough to run a smart phone, unless you shut down one application you will get errors with the next.
With that in mind I would have a hard time recommending this phone. If Nokia increases the memory and fixes the software this would be the best phone on the market right now.

Although you say it is a "good" phone but not "great" you only give it a 4! You end by saying it could be the best (at time). You only cite two problems...call log and internal 8 meg memory. You also had a problem with your BT headset but found a compatable one apparently. The call log issue was fixed since you wrote your review and I have never had a problem with the internal memory for running apps. I store all music and data on 512 MMC card (hot swapable too!). I do not use a BT headset so will not comment on that. I have owned for nearly a year and still think it is great phone and is still being sold on Cingular web site as of this date.
