"Excellent Specs for the Price."
on by robincd08Pros WIFI enabled. Bottom line a great semi-smart phone for the price
Cons None. Using Nokia's downloads you can install some great software for this phone. Its a lot of bang for the buck!
Summary Love it. A Great substitute for us Blackberry users that are sick of the whole blackberry experience. By the way...The C3 by Nokia is built tough. I've dropped it countless of times and it keeps on ticking.

"AVOID IF YOU'RE SYNCING WITH APPLE COMPUTERS"
on by CNET-CDNPros - for Apple users, none.
Cons NO APPLE SUPPORT (software, downloads, updates, Nokia phone support, carrier support (CHAT-R in Canada)
Summary I unfortunately got sucked into buying this phone by CHAT-R counter sales reps in Canada who, through ignorance or malice, failed to mention the phone was incompatible with Apple computers.
Before you could say "what do you mean, only 2 weeks to return the phone after purchase"... I was the proud owner forever, of a C3-00.
NOKIA provides no support, APPLE offers no workarounds, and CHAT-R phone support will flush you faster than you can say - Drat! when looking for help with the phone.
Basically there will be no connection between your phone and your computer if you're using Apple. You might be able to take pictures, or have great music, but good luck moving files between them. Same for phone numbers or calendar info.
The only functionality I found was thanks to similarly sucked in users who had turned to themselves and someone had slapped together some homemade thing that allowed iSync to provide some basic in/out between the computer and the phone.
So I manage to transfer some of the contact/calendar data however, I'm never sure if the transfer is complete or correct since this is someone's DIY programming.
But, as the updates to the phone software are released, you'll be chasing Windows based friends and trying to figure out how to use their computer to update your phone.
Apple may be the most valuable corporation on the planet as of August 2012, but it would seem to the management 'professionals' at Nokia they're still some small fly-by-night operation whose 'fringe' computers don't require any attention from Nokia (or maybe it's Apple's pesky iPhone products that just leaves Nokia so "couldn't care less").

"Want a small unit with smarts? Got it here"
on by inversboyPros Nokia, 'Nuff said
Cons Home and Clear key can be hard to handle, too small
Summary Work in a harsh environment (hard rock copper mine) which seems to destroy touch screen phones due dust etc. Nokia C5-00 is a small smart and fairly tough unit. Like it

"NOKIA C3-00: DON'T EVER BUT THIS PHONE"
on by surajithit2004Pros Only Looks
Cons Gets switched off randomly, Parts not good, Have Manufacturing problems
Summary For me also same thing is happening, it is getting turned off suddenly, i took the phone to Nokia care in bangalore but they told they can not repair it. I purchased the phone 2 months back from UNIVERCELL (near Big Bazaar, Kathriguppe, BSK 3rd Stage) but when i first opened the phone for changing the SIM card, the cheap cover fallen down, and from then it is getting switched odd frequently. NOKIA, please give us good material or else no end customer will purchase your product. NOKIA phones are having manufacturing problems.
