    "Aesome phone" on by schubox66

Pros: Fixed all of the probs the 8801 had

Cons: Speaker phone as well as the ear buds they gave have weak volume

Summary: Love the phone it is an awesome product big step up from the 8801. I loved the shape and size of the 8801 better but this phone fixes all the little probs.the 8801 had ie... much better talk time, better picture quality, more memory, specialized ring tones for contacts. Over all love my new luna.

"Sleek and crampy..." on by Tess600

Pros: Sleek design! The metal case is solid and well-crafted with a soft matte black finish on the back and smooth glass on the front. Nokia's Luna boots up quick once the battery is ready to go and stays cool. Camera phone takes decent photos.

Cons: The key pad is cramped and dialing digits on the lower end of the key pad is tricky. Typing "*" "0" or "#" involves angling your finger or thumb in order to depress the key--and I have small hands to begin with! Also, limited phone applications.

Summary: If all you care about is looks and love taking photos, then you have something here. But, don't expect masterpieces on your cellphone. The battery life can run low on high use days. There's video playback and image capture is slightly better than other videophones. You won't enjoy this if you're a hard-core texter. Speakerphone is so-so--sounds tinny. The only other redeeming quality besides the stand-out design is that there's MP3 player (plays AAC, etc.) and an FM radio. Wouldn't it be nice if it did XM?

Here are some points I missed:

Camera: doesn't have flash and you can't save photos to a MicroSD or some other phone memory card (no slot). But, you can save it to your phone and then later transfer the photo files to your computer once you have the USB sync cable in like how you would when transfering music files.

"In contrary to CNET" on by lowkey213

Pros: Elegent and simple to use,

    Cons: no micro sd slot

Summary: The Luna is great, its my favorite phone on the market. Theirs no flash or self portrait mirror but in contrary to CNET it doesn't matter because the material where the lens is located is shiny and shows your reflection and acts like a mirror, and I'm glad that the Luna doesn't have a flash because all cellphone flashes don't have the quality to really do anything for the picture your taking. I like the fact that the phone is heavy because the weight is a sign of durability and you know your holding something in your hand. I'm not 90 and i don't have a problem seeing small things so are great and you do get used to the size. The location of some of the buttons aren't great but o the things we sacrifice for beauty. The only reason i would rate the Luna a 9 and not a 10 is because it doesn't have a micro sd slot, and for a person like me who has a habit of dropping their phone, its not the best thing for your phone to have a glass front cover because believe me i have changed the cover on mine more then once lol.

"Beautiful, sturdy phone" on by leohsu825

Pros: works globally on GSM networks and very very easy and familiar user interface.

Cons: Very expensive. Lacks a lot of features. No expandable memory.

Summary: This phone is very aesthetically attractive. It is built w/ steel and glass. You are paying about $650 for a pretty and sturdy phone. When I first touched it, I was amazed @ how solid it felt. But, as solid as it is, the phone can't be dropped b/c the lower half is made of glass, and it will crack.

Calls are clear and blue tooth works fine w/ my Aliph Jawbone headset.

The user interface is very plain and simple. Reminds me of the past nokia interface, but in color. The main reason I purchased this phone was for the quad band capability. I plan on only using it for my travels.

"Looks great, terrible battery life, and worst reception of any phone on the market!" on by ferwinn

Pros: Incredible screen and graphics, the phone looks like it came from the 22nd century

Cons: The phone has limited features, small keys, terrible (I mean terrible) reception (not the network either), and battery life sucks!!!

Summary: I bought this phone three months ago and that is exactly how long I had it before throwing it against the sidewalk! It looks amazing and that is the only reason this phone stands out. The battery life and reception is absolutely terrible! If you want a POS phone solely for the looks, this phone's for you.
