Nokia N81 (8GB, Unlocked)

Pros: Looks, features...everything

Cons: plastic feel, fingerprint magnet.

Summary: I think this phone is one of the best phones made by Nokia considering the overall features and built. I've had this phone for about 2 years now and I must say that I had a great time with this phone. Because the OS is Symbian S60 v3, I could download so MANY apps...I even had a file sharing app called Symella and a torrent client called SymTorrent, very good apps. The camera quality isn't that bad, the resolution is good but takes average pictures in a dark room even under night mode.
I must say that the back of the phone is a complete fingerprint magnet, and the overall finish gives a plastic feel to it, the keys were little difficult to use in the beginning only, now I can type faster than a tiger without even looking at the phone.

The best part about the phone is multitaking, u can open up many apps at the same time.

I would say that once a month, the phone freezzes up and restarts, but I confess that it was probably my mistake. I used to have about 5000 text messages on it which made my phone very slow! so remember, don't make this phone do more than its capability.

The speakers are so LOUD! I'm not even kidding, the ringtone and music is very loud, but the quality is average. But I've noticed that listening to the same song on my ipod and N81 with earphones, the N81 has a better quality to the music, maybe has something to do with the EQ settings.

Overall, I'm extremely happy that I bought this phone, I had many apps, many N-gage games that kept be entertained in boring places, took great pictures over 2 yrs and surfed the internet using Wi-Fi all the time! Though I wish the phone had GPS.

but Im very happy and I recommend this phone for people who are into multimedia and Wi-Fi.
