Pros: 4G LTE is beyond LIGHTNING fast, call quality is good, reception is good, when you get a new text message you can drag the message icon to the middle and it's a nice feature, integrates perfectly with google, syncs with old contacts and facebook!

Cons: Camera on the back has major lag, front-camera is actually decent but not best in class, videos aren't the best, battery life is TERRIBLE.

Summary: I don't understand all of the hate on this phone. Apparently, I must have gotten one of the good ones because I absolutely LOVE it. I have now had it for almost a month and it's way better than any phone I've owned up until now.

The camera and video are not the best, but still decent. Battery life is horrible, but you can get on ebay and purchase an extended battery for $25 and that problem is solved.

I would definitely recommend this phone to ANY and ALL of my friends. Storage on it is pretty good, and the 4G LTE isn't even comparable to 3G, it's light years better. If you're in any area with bad reception, this phone actually does pretty well too. I have a family of 8 and everyone has problems with receptions in this area, but since getting this phone, I can make phone calls without drops with no problem!

When the phone is locked and you get a message, you can drag the message to the middle to unlock the phone and go straight to it, which is a great feature. You can also do this for calls and e-mails, which is handy.

I would actually rate this phone a 4 star, but since everyone is knocking it down so much, I bumped my rating to a 5 so people can see the real truth about this phone. Don't buy it to take pictures or if you are needing something with really good battery life.

But, if you can accept that the battery will need charged a bit more often than some phones and don't take a bunch of photos with your phone, then you're going to love this thing. The processor in this phone is very good and makes for near flawless operation when you're opening things and moving from page to page of apps.

I went into Verizon wanting the Droid X2, and left with this one because personally I was wanting something with 4G but not that expensive! I paid $50 for this and got a $50 rebate with an upgrade, so it was free. If you have an upgrade available, I would recommend checking this out, because it's hard to beat FREE! Not to mention, in my humble opinion this phone was better than the Droid X2. The Droid X2 is out-of-date with slow 3G, but people do swear by their Droid X's and X2's, so I guess it's more of a personal preference.

In summary, like I've said don't buy this to take pictures. But if you're looking for a solid smartphone that won't break the bank that has lightning fast 4G, a good processor, and a cool way to open texts and e-mails, then this is DEFINITELY the phone for you. My one recommendation would be to go straight to ebay though and get an extended life battery for $25. If you have an upgrade and get this for free then buy the battery, you'll have spent $25 on a VERY good phone, just don't use it for pictures and I find it hard to believe you'll find a complaint about it with the new battery!
