"Great simple phone with lots of features/HAC also"
on by prr929Pros Works great with hearing aids. Also has loud speaker and voice dial and commands.
Quick call and speed dialing make calling easy.
Can adjust font style and sizeCons No qwerty keyboard for texting.
Summary This is a great phone for people who like flip phones instead of bar phones. It is simple to learn how to use it and the manual that comes with it is printed in large enough type to actually read it. Even my son commented that all phones should have manuals like this!
If you have a hearing problem or want letters big enough to actually read ( and numbers too) this is the phone for you.
It has lots of features that you can use for free without a data plan.
The only things on the outside of the spine of the phone are the volume buttons and the charger port so you don't accidentally open some application you don't want to.
You can actually read the clock on the outside display.
It's fairly easy to see the screen in the bright sunlight.
Overall this phone works very nicely for a good solid basic phone. It's a little longer than you might expect, but that makes it feel like a real phone when you are talking, and it's slim and lightweight.
If you are a senior or just someone who wants a great basic phone this is it! You will like it! -
"Be careful - OK button is same as Internet Access"
on by BucketowaterFitPros Text messages are kept in conversation style.
Cons My 72 yr old mother keeps accessing internet & so AT&T keeps charging us for its access. The internet button is the SAME as the "OK" button. She sends pictures, but hits "OK" all the time, and we get charged for 'turning on' internet.
Summary Out of all of the phones in the store, this one had the best clarity for her hearing device. Although, after months of using it her complaints are...Battery runs out quickly and still can't hear. I believe its because she continues to lose hearing. Battery, I don't know.

"They lie!!! My 7 year old Nokia works better."
on by tonydiskPros Looks nice, decent screen, simple menu, decent range.
Cons HORRIBLE battery life, about 50 hours with minimal talk and NO data (not the hours and hours of talk and 10 day standby time promoted by the spec sheets). Speakerphone very poor, causes echos and high pitched squealing at the other folks end (just the thi
Summary We got booted off our old att plan, were told our 2 Nokia 6200IM 's would not work. First lie they would work on a 3g network. Second lie, we believed the reviews form the tech editors at cnet and other places concerning call quality, battery life etc. Those folks must all drink magic kool-aid together. Yes these are going back. Sadly the reviews of the Nokia 6350 aren't much better. You simply can't tell me in the seven years+ since they made the Nokia 6200 the hardware could not be better. Unless of course greed and arrogance have infected at&t to the extent marketing and sales have forgotten that some people buy a Cell Phone to make PHONE CALLS (wow what a concept)

"Good Phone for the money."
on by chesskixPros Easy to use and has a simple mode to make it even easier. Well laid out and has a full set of features including GPS.
Cons GPS does not work all that well and Mobil Web is very slow. E-mail not included in Unlimited Data Plan. Most if not all of these problems are more related to ATT than the phone. Battery life is very poor.
Summary I probably should have shopped longer for the best phone but this one will do.
Another down side of this phone is you can't select custom ring tones for people in your address book. That is a useful feature that I miss.

"Very nice basic phone"
on by bullyforyouPros Good call quality, simple formatting, easy to program, nice photos, versatility on a basic phone.
Cons The speaker phone is poor. I returned my first device immediately because of the distortion on the speaker phone. My second phone's sepaker phone started out fine, but later ended up with the same distortion, not on MY end, but on the other end. I nee
Summary Overall a very reliable, straight forward phone. If you don't need all of the stellar gizmos on your phone, get this one. I really do like it in spite of the speaker issue.
Addendum: After taking the phone into AT&T, it was discovered that there was an outdated SIM card in the phone, causing issues with the speaker phone. After updating the SIM card the speaker phone was pristine. The only time I have an issue is in an area where connectivity is marginal. I am delighted to now have use of the speaker phone again!

Updated on Jun 15, 2012This phone has been great for me. The call quality has been excellent. This is most important to me, as I am primarily concerned with making calls and texting. This phone delivers. I will be checking out the Breeze III, which has gotten very good reviews also.
